Open Source Software Sustainability Lab

I am the lead facilitator of the Open Source Software Sustainability Lab, a capacity-building program for open source software for science. The program approaches sustainability through community health and is a collaboration with the CHAOSS project. It is supported by the Wellcome Trust and will run a cohort program from July - December 2025 and a closed-door workshop for funders in early 2026.

 
 

SILT

I am the co-founder of SILT (Sustainable Infrastructure for Local Talent), a shared management commons for independent researchers. SILT is an affordable fiscal sponsor for researchers working at the intersection of the environment and data. We ask: what will institutions look like in the future? What alternative structures can we build today?

 
 

Cultural Constructions of Race & Racism Research Collective (CCRRRC)

I am PI of the Cultural Constructions of Race and Racism Research Collective (CcRrrC, pronounced crrick!) an open-access platform bringing together analysis, original writing, and curated resources about race and racism outside of the US. Supported by the SSRC to offer fully paid opportunities for marginalized writers and researchers, the project is a distributed experiment in digital knowledge infrastructure, bringing regionally-focused explorations into comparative perspective.
